Spine, boards and corners rubbed, some fraying to head, tail and corners; light soiling to boards with what appears to be pencil coloring of “al” and “no” to front board; two gift inscriptions in ink, one to front pastedown, other to ffep; one previous owner stamp to front pastedown; gutter split between blank and half-title page. Scarce. $8,000.
