Gustav Klimt: Serena Pulitzer Lederer Journal
Serena Pulitzer Lederer (1867–1943) was a relative of the journalist Joseph Pulitzer and a grande dame in the Viennese society. This painting of her marked the beginning of her friendship with Gustav Klimt. The artist continued to paint multiple portraits for the family, most of which were burnt in the fire of a Nazi stolen art depot in 1945.
Part of a series of exciting and luxurious Flame Tree Notebooks. Combining high-quality production with magnificent fine art, the covers are printed on foil in five colours, embossed then foil stamped. And they're powerfully practical: a pocket at the back for receipts and scraps, two bookmarks and a solid magnetic side flap. These are perfect for personal use and make a dazzling gift.
