Contemporary Chinese Yixing Teapots from the James T. Bialac Collection
This illustrated catalogue presents some 65 contemporary Chinese teapots from a collection donated to the Phoenix, Arizona Museum. They are from Yixing where the local purple clay deposits are used by skilled potters to make unglazed teapots in very varied styles. Some 200 other items are illustrated in miniature.
